R.M. Spallone Building & Remodeling was established in April 1991 as a sole proprietorship. The main focus of my business, at that time, was small to medium size renovation projects. Seven years later, the company was changed to a corporation where the focus of the business was still the same; however, we began to pickup larger renovation projects and subcontracts with new home builders.
The business started on it's first new home project in 10/2000. I learned of Forest Homes at that time, and began to research the company and the benefits of using the panelization process. I found that the framing is far superior to any field framing that I have seen, and the the time it takes to get the house dried in is greatly reduced -- 3 to 5 days depending on what is being built.
Today, it is becoming more and more difficult to find a pool of highly trained workers. However, with the panelization process, a five man framing crew can consist of one or two skilled carpenters and the rest, semi skilled to entry level laborers.This type of framing is cutting edge and being done in a heated and controlled environment. The business has just completed the process changing from a C-corp. to a LLC. the new business name is R.M. Spallone Builders, LLC. Our display center/office is located at 701 S Main St in Horseheads NY, come on by and see what we can do for you.
